Events for visitors to the Stavanger region.

meetings-and-incentives-1An Arts degree in Norwegian, French, History and Russian combined with two years at Rogaland College of Arts have proved very useful in Eli Aga’s business as an organizer of meetings and events, always blending in a dosage of culture.

Eli Aga started her events business back in 1997. Always open to new approaches and inventive ways of communicating culture, our beautiful nature and interesting history, Eli Aga finds it particularly exciting to present “the Stavanger package” to groups visiting the city as well as Stavanger residents as part e.g. of teambuilding programs.

meetings-and-incentives-2Being the preferred events organizer/ hostess/guide to many congress groups for many years, Eli Aga speaks from experience when maintaining that the “Stavanger package” can compete with many of the most well known congress cities worldwide. “We have a number of events and experiences that our guests appreciate, excellent restaurants with tasty food, high-quality hotels and very good international conference facilities”, she says. “Stavanger, of course, means the whole region, including Sandnes and Jæren in the south, the Ryfylke fjords and Lyseheiene (moors) in the east. The beautiful scenery surrounding the city is our number one attraction. “

meetings-and-incentives-3Eli Aga’s tours are full of beautiful nature, exciting stories and cultural events. A number of boats and buses transport groups of visitors and congress participants to thrilling experience on fjords and mountains, from the ocean to the moors.

meetings-and-incentives-4The destinations include the spectacular Lysefjorden, the internationally famous Pulpit Rock (Prekestolen), the pre-historic village of Landa, where we are introduced to life in the Bronze Age, or Europe’s biggest rockslide Gloppedalsura, where the trolls are still dancing. On the beautiful islands in Ryfylke, we get to experience “good life” in practice, and at Jæren, exposed to tough weather, we will enjoy a wonderful coastal landscape loved by painters and other artists.

Delicious food is served in places selected for their atmosphere. Don’t get surprised if you are invited into a private home, where the owners have a special story to tell, or something special to show you.

meetings-and-incentives-6For smaller groups, Eli Aga arranges activities such as deep-sea or river fishing, rafting, canyon hiking, or go-cart driving in the summer, and dog sledge riding in the winter. Hiking in the mountains with a highly trained nature guide is also very exciting. At the other end of the scale, Eli Aga offers gallery tours and intimate concerts for art lovers. Mixing “soft and hard” events and experiences gives the most exciting result, according to Eli’s philosophy.
